Needles 8mm/US #11 or size needed for gauge, dpns or 40cm/16" circular and needles for small circumference at crown. 6.5mm/US #10.5 or 1.5mm smaller than gauge needles, dpns or 40cm/16" circular.

Other Notions stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving, pompom maker (optional).

Gauge 11.5 sts x 16 rows over 10cm/4" in Stockinette stitch worked in the round with needle 8mm/US #11.
