Product Description
Falling in love with C2C was easy, and then I couldn't stop myself from designing patterns for it. This was was created with my Aunt in mind (it will actually be a present for her!). The color changing and counting involved may be daunting to someone that is new to C2C, and even for more experienced crocheters it might be a lot to handle. Included is a full size graph and a graph for each season. I crocheted this as one piece. A border is optional and based on preference. I used the background color for each season around its respective edge.
My yarn preference for all my blankets is Big Twist Value yarn. There is a square count for each color so you are able to determine how much yarn you would need if you want to use a different kind.
C2C Four Seasons Blanket by BusyBeeCrocheting
Project Overview
The C2C Four Seasons Blanket is an intermediate-level crochet project designed to create a large twin-sized throw blanket measuring approximately 54" x 80". This blanket celebrates the four seasons through a thoughtfully coordinated color palette and can be worked either as one continuous piece or separated into individual seasonal panels for creative flexibility.
What is Being Made
This is a corner-to-corner (C2C) crochet blanket featuring seasonal color themes. The design allows crafters to either complete the entire blanket as a single integrated project or work on the seasons as distinct panels that can be joined together. The finished blanket is sized perfectly for a twin bed, making it both a functional home textile and a decorative throw.
Crochet Techniques and Stitches
The C2C (corner-to-corner) technique is the primary construction method used in this pattern. This technique involves building the blanket diagonally from one corner, creating small squares that form the overall design. The C2C method is popular for creating graphical patterns and color work in crochet, as it allows for precise color placement and creates a fabric with excellent stitch definition.
The pattern includes gauge information of 5x5 squares measuring 3.25 square inches, which helps ensure proper sizing and finished dimensions. Crafters are provided with instructions for adjusting yarn and hook sizes by test-crocheting the first three squares to calculate yardage requirements per square.

Finished Specifications
The completed blanket measures approximately 54 inches wide by 80 inches long, making it ideal for a twin bed. The intermediate difficulty level indicates that this project is suitable for crocheters with some experience who are comfortable following multi-step patterns and managing color changes.
Design Flexibility
One of the key features of this pattern is its adaptability. While the blanket is designed to be crocheted as one complete piece, the pattern includes separate instructions for each of the four seasons as individual panels. This allows crafters to work on the project in stages or to customize the final product by selecting which seasonal panels to include.
