Bring me Wine, Now Leave

I designed Bring Me Wine; Now, Leave Me socks for my mom for Christmas. I had images of my mom sitting with her feet up, a glass of wine, while my siblings vacuumed around her all while wearing the socks. (Did you pick up on how my siblings are vacuuming? Hey, I designed her a pair of socks! I shouldn’t have to clean either.)

They are knit using stranded colorwork with wine glasses and bottle motifs. To make the color work easier I decided to use an afterthought heel.

The best part of the is kicking your feet up and telling the world "to bring me wine & run the vacuum!"
