Product Description
Brightly is a symmetrical triangle shawl with garter stitch and ruffle stripes, ending with a simple garter lace border. This triangular shawl is knit flat, starting at the bottom tip, and widening out to the top. Alternating between garter stitch stripes with simple increases, and garter stitch ruffles, this shawl achieves its shape with steps along the edge. The shawl ends with a simple garter stitch lace that will be showcased at the top around your neck.
Grab 3 - 4 skeins of your favorite DK weight yarn and go to town!! There are so many fun combinations! Use mostly neutral yarns with a bright color POP for the lace edge, or use all one color for textural stripes and lace! This is a great pattern to showcase variegated or speckled yarns, too!
Skill level: Beginner. Techniques used: knitting, simple yarn-over increases, simple decreases, repetitive lace. The entire pattern is written, with the lace border charted for your convenience!
