Brida Shawl

Brida Shawl is worked from tip to long edge and forms an asymmetrical triangle. You can easily make the shawl larger or smaller by working either more or less pattern repeats in each section.

Size 84.5" (214.5 cm) wingspan and 18" (46 cm) depth.

Yarn Quince & Co Tern [75% Wool, 25% Silk; 221 yards (202 m) / 50 grams]: terra cotta, 4 skeins. or Fingering weight yarn, 880 yds (805 m).

Needles US Size 5 [3.75 mm] 32-40" (81-102 cm) circular to accommodate large number of stitches.

Gauge 22 sts and 36 rows = 4" (10 cm) in St st Gauge is not critical, but may change measurements and yarn amounts if different.
