Product Description
This adaptable pattern is offered in two styles (fingerless mitts & full mittens) & four sizes, to suit anyone from age 3 yrs to adult.
The mittens are worked flat, using DK yarn (or equivalent) on 2 needles. Only small quantities of yarn are required (approx 1.2 ozs (35g) DK yarn, so the pattern would be ideal for using up your stash. The pattern is in PDF format on 4 pages with instructions given row by row.
Choose rainbow colours, your team colours, pastels, monochrome, add as many rows of 'bracelets' as you like – you can make these mittens as individual as you are.
Stitches & techniques required: K1, P1 rib: Knit: Purl: increasing: knitting sts together: Knitting into front & back of sts.
Suggested yarns: Most DK yarns will be suitable for this project. I have used easy-care machine washable yarns from my stash which includes Sirdar Snuggly DK & Hayfield Bonus DK, both ranges which have a huge selection of colours.
