Bly Shawl

Bly shawl’s color scheme and stitch pattern are reminiscent of the dark, gothic, and mysterious atmosphere of the Netflix series “The Haunting of the Bly Manor”, which I watched while thinking up this design – thus the name! The stitch pattern (which is from an old book) had been earlier mentioned on Instagram, and I thought it would be nice to use in a shawl. The shawl is constructed similarly to “Shelliana”, with increases along the side, and a few short rows to ensure it stays put while exploring the unknown of vast and creepy old manors, or just walking within the predictably secure confines of your own house.
