Blue Wildebeest Granny Square

This blue wildebeest granny square is approximately 20 cm x 20 cm (8.15” x 8.15”), and can be used as a component for crocheted items such as a blanket or cushion cover. The square can be used repeatedly, or with others. This is the fifteenth of my ‘South African animal’ granny squares. Keep your eyes open for the last two designs coming soon ;-)

It can also be framed framed and hung on a wall, as home décor - ideal in a nursery, or a child’s bedroom.

The pattern (written in US terms) calls for DK yarn in five colours (dark grey, lime green, pepper, grey, and black), and a 4.00 mm crochet hook is used throughout. In total, the approximate yardage is 61 m (67 yds).

The only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in the ends.
