The little flower is crocheted separately and sewn on to the top of the leaves, leaving no stitches showing underneath. Any crocheted flower could be substituted and any colour combination.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe pattern uses approx. 6g of lemon, 4g of black, 3g of green and 1.5g of coral in Scheepjes Catona but any yarn and colour combination can be used. It makes a great little stash buster.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhilst the pattern is written using UK terminology there is a conversion chart for US terminology.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI have taught this pattern to friends and at workshops and they all love their little bees. It's a good introduction to various crochet stitches and there is a little tips section to remind you of how to make the stitches.
