Bed Jacket

Cosy bed-jacket knitted in Rowan Kid Classic in luxurious cream for wear in the bedroom - but could look good knitted in a darker colour that can be worn for day or evening

The jacket has a large shawl collar, a high, drawstring waist,and a pretty lace edging knitted lengthways and added to the finished garment. Back and fronts are worked in one piece, then joined at shoulders.

YARN 9 [10: 11: 12: 12: 13] x 50g balls of Rowan Kid Classic (worsted weight 70% wool/22% mohair/8% polyamide: 140m/153yds 50g ball) in desired shade

NEEDLES AND HOOK 5mm (UK no 6) (US 8) long circular knitting needle Pair of 5mm (UK no 6) (US 8) knitting needles 4.00mm (UK no 8) (US F-5) crochet hook TENSION 19 sts and 25 rows to 10cm/4in measured over stocking stitch using 5mm (US 8) needles.
