Bath mat mar

Für unser Badezimmer am Meer möchte ich eine zweite Badematte herstellen. Sie soll die typischen portugiesischen Sardinen zeigen und einen (eigentlich nur vor den Hochsee-Inseln anzutreffenden) Wal. Die Farben habe ich bewusst poppig gewählt, um am Morgen einen Gute-Laune-Kick zu verbreiten. Da ich inzwischen weiß, dass sich diese Matten nicht nur bis 40 Grad problemlos waschen lassen, sondern sich auch im Trockner nicht verändern, kann ich gar nicht genug von den dicken und wärmenden Teilen haben…

For our bathroom at the sea, I want to knit a second bath mat. I want it to show the typical Portuguese Sardines and a whale (which you can technically only see near the islands further out at sea). I chose bright colours on purpose for some good mood in the mornings. Now that I know that these bath mats are easily washable at 40 degrees and that they do not change shape in the dryer, I cannot get enough of these cosy pieces.
