Product Description
This cool baby sweater has a beautiful texture on the front and on the shawl collar. It can be made in 5 sizes and is made with basic stitches, but also with the Alpine stitch for the textured parts. I have added detailed instructions with photos in the pattern on how to crochet this Alpine stitch. The front and the back of the sweater are worked separately. Then we crochet 2 sleeves and the shawl collar. We close the shoulders seams and sew or crochet the shawl collar and the sleeves to the sweater and close the sides of the sweater.
I have made these sweaters with a DK yarn. I have used Lana Grossa Soft Cotton and Scheepjeswol Softfun. Both are a mix of cotton and acrylic yarn; 50 grams = 140 meters / 153 yards
