Baby Blanket #265

I designed this blanket because I couldn't find quite what I wanted, but I was so happy with how it turned out that I had to write up the pattern.

This is a 110cm square baby blanket worked in a beautiful bamboo cotton yarn, chosen for its softness, breathability, and the loveliest drape. The texture combines a simple lace row (those little breathing holes are there for peace of mind as much as it is looks), 2 stitch cable columns that are totally doable without a cable needle if you're feeling confident, and a classic moss stitch border. Light, airy, and just a little bit special.

It works beautifully as a summer layer, over the cot, tucked into the pram, or thrown over the car seat. And if you want to go bigger, the pattern repeat makes it easy to extend.
