Astrea Crochet Dress

The Astrea Dress is a made-to-measure pattern. It features a split hem, cowl neck and a low U-back design.

Designed for Sport (#2) or DK (#3) weight yarn with corresponding hook size.

I used ~560g (1,530m/1,680yds) of Sport (#2) yarn for my dress. I’m a size S, 158m tall and my dress length fell just below the knee.

Difficulty: Intermediate

The stitch looks complicated but it’s really just a combination of simple stitches (sc, dc, ch). The intermediate rating is due to the size of the piece, amount of work time and construction style of the dress.

Dress length is customizable.

The shoulder straps double up as the corset back ties. There are 2 main styles for the corset back - an open back design with criss-crossing thin straps; and a thicker ribbon tie to hide the bra band

A reference gauge is provided but this is a made to measure pattern at heart!
