The Aprilis beanie came to life during the night of the Pink Super Moon (4/5/20). Aprilis is Latin for April, the month this hat was designed, and when spring really gets going here in the PNW. DK yarn makes the Aprilis beanie a perfect lightweight addition to any spring outfit. The hat is cast on using the Estonian method, which gives it a stretchy and decorative edge.
Gauge: approximately 5 st/inch with US 6 in stockinette (the ribbing in this hat is stretchy and very forgiving)
Size: Teen to Adult (20-23” head circ)
Yarn: 1 skein Cedar House Yearling DK (shown in Sunstone colorway) OR 1 skein of MadTosh DK (shown in Hollyhock)
