Any Size Wool Soaker

A comprehensive knitting pattern for a wool nappy cover or soaker, designed to act as a breathable, water-resistant layer over a reusable cloth nappy.

You will need to knit this in real wool that hasn’t been superwash treated for it to be effective as a water resistant cover for a cloth nappy. The cover can also be knitted in other yarns to be used purely as a decorative nappy cover or shorts.

The pattern provides 5 standard sizes from newborn to toddler, plus 1 standard adult size using worsted/Aran weight yarn.

There are also Excel spreadsheet versions of this pattern (one metric, one imperial) which allow you to make a soaker to custom measurements or using a different weight wool (e.g. bulky or chunky), which can be requested from me by email following purchase. The spreadsheets can be opened using Google Sheets if you don't have MS Office (guidance included).
