Anthea - 4ply sandals for babies

These 4ply garter stitch baby sandals have a buttoned ankle strap, foot strap knitted sideways and optional T-bar. This style of sandal is also available in 3ply and 8ply.

Pattern sizes: 0 (3-6-9) months.

To fit foot: 7 (8-9-10) cm [2¾ (3¼-3½-4) ins].

Yarn required: 1 (1-1-1) ball Lincraft Lullaby 4ply, 50g balls@185m.

Needles required: A pair of 3.25mm [UK 10, US 3/4] knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing up.

Also required: 2 small buttons.

Tension: 27 sts and 54 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over garter st, using 3.25mm needles
