He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.
My Andy is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using three colors.
Color 1: White (20 yards)
Color 2: Goldfish (30 Yards)
Color 2: Duckie (80 Yards)
Andy is a beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, increases, decreases, simple color changes and some seaming. Included is a photo tutorial on how create child-safe eyes from felt, although instructions for using plastic safety eyes are given as well.
The pattern has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your own festive friend!
