Amigurumi Pelican

••Finished Size: This pattern let’s you make two different sized pelican birds depending on the yarn thickness and hook size you use. The large pelican uses Worsted/Aran weight yarn and a 2.75 mm and 3.5 mm hook. The small pelican uses Sport weight yarn and a 2.00 mm and 2.75 mm hook.

If the recommended yarn thickness and hook size are used the finished large pelican will be 25 cm (9.8 inches) tall by 20 cm (7.8 inches) wide and the small pelican will be 16 cm (6.2 inches) tall by 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide.

••Skills Needed: Crocheting in a round/spiral, crocheting around both sides of a foundation chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increase and decrease stitches, and ability to sew multiple pieces together.
