Akamatsu Cowl

This cowl uses mosaic crochet to create the form of the Akamatsu, or Japanese Red Pine.

Fingering weight yarn in two colors:

Background color: 300 yds Pattern color: 200 yds

I used: Ruby & Roses Rustic Rose Golden Alley 300 yd Royal Bee Yarn Company Fingering 100% SW Merino Mallard 200 yd

Hook: 2.5 and 2.75 mm hook, or appropriate for gauge

Notions: tapestry needle
