Ainsleigh Hat

The Ainsleigh Hat is a quick and easily memorizable pattern – it’s the perfect one skein wonder! There is a very basic cable detail and is the perfect introduction to cabling for a beginner.

Small (20”)  Medium (21”)  Large (22.5”)  Extra Large (24”)

MATERIALS

Sassy Strings Yarn Studio 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon; 246yds per 100g skein in the colourway “Underground”.

Needles: 16” Circular Needless US5 (3.75mm); DPNS Size US 5 (3.75mm) or size needed to get gauge as well as a cable needle in the same size or smaller.

Notions: tapestry needle, stitch marker

GAUGE

22 stitches x 30 rows worked in Stockinette for a 4” square
