Aegina cardigan

Aegina cardigan is the type of sweater I love to wrap up in all year round. The garment features an cable motifs trimmed with ribbed hems. The shawl collar and modified drop-shoulder construction create a cozy fit with classic appeal.

• Cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece from top down. The sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.  • German short-rows are used for sleeve cap and shoulder shaping. Knitters also could use any other short-row method of their choice.

Sizes:  Women’s XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL)  to fit bust: 30/32 (34/36, 38/40, 42/44, 46/48, 50/52)” or 76/81 (86/91, 96/102, 107/112, 117/122, 127/132)cm.

Finished Measurements:  35 (37, 42, 45, 47, 53)” or 89 (94, 107, 114, 119, 135) cm bust circumference.  Shown in size M (42”/107 cm) on 37’’/94 cm bust with 5”/13 cm of positive ease.

Gauge:  20 sts and 28 rows = 4’’ in Stockinette stitch on size  US 6 (4 mm) needle, after blocking.
