I have included notes in the pattern about how you might like to vary the design.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI like to think that the top area of the cowl is reminiscent of strings of beads, often draped over trees or elsewhere in the home at Christmas. While this design may look difficult to some, the stitch pattern is a fairly simple one really. And I love the contrasting aspects of it!
