My daughter is getting married and she asked for a knitted wedding throw rather than a patchwork quilt. She requested dark navy and lots of cables.... voila.
This throw is quite large, being 140cm x 210cm (55" x 83") when blocked, but truly, every stitch was a pleasure to knit. Very easy to adjust the size if desired.
Any sport weight yarn can be used, but the MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino was just so lovely to work with and the finished result is like creamy velvet. I don't know how else to describe it - it is just gorgeous.
A simple pattern, easy to remember, and a fabulous finished result.
Perfect size for the end of a bed or to snuggle up with on the sofa.
