For Experienced Knitters in miniature. This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.
Materials required: Shawl -Size 22 (0.70 mm/ US size 000000) knitting needles, No. 100 crochet cotton, (No. 80 crochet cotton or Tatting thread No 70 can also be used, but this will give a less lacy effect and knit up slightly larger in size). Pilch Knickers -1 pair size 24 (0.55 mm/US size 00000000) knitting needles, 17 yards/15 metres No. 100 crochet cotton, ribbon for waist tie.
Finished sizes: Knickers - ½-inch/1.25 cm tall.. Shawl – 2½-inch/6 cm square approx.
Gauge is not important as shawls can be any size.
