1:12th scale Stiffened bowls/baskets

This pattern uses UK crochet terms, written pattern.

Materials Required: Small bowls - 0.60 mm crochet hook , 5 yards/5 metres No 100 crochet cotton or very fine cotton thread i.e. good quality sewing thread. Large bowls - 0.60 mm crochet hook , 8 yards/7.5 metres No 100 crochet cotton or very fine cotton thread i.e. good quality sewing thread. For stiffening of all bowls - Cork or mould of plasticine to stiffen crochet over, rust proof pins, plastic cling film, starch or sugar solution.

Finished size: Small bowls – approx ¾-inch/2 cm diameter. Large bowls - approx 1¼-inches/3 cm diameter

Gauge – Although this is not really important for this project as bowls can be any size, in all cases Round 1 measures ¼-inch/0.6 mm across.
