Combining two sets of stitches together from two separate needles is a requirement of this project. T

his project is not suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.

Materials required: Size 20 (0.90 mm) knitting needles (1 pair plus spare needle), 55 yards/50 metres 1-ply wool, small amount contrast colour 1-ply wool, stitch holders; (Belt - optional - small amount of wool in a contrast colour to bathing costume, small ring or buckle). The swimming costume may be worked with or without the seagull on the front.

Finished size: 2½-inches/6 cm tall by 1¼-inches/ 3 cm wide at waist.

Gauge: Gauge is not important for this project as dolls vary greatly in size.
