This is a pattern for you to make this lovely cabled mug/cup cosy which will keep that tea or coffee nice and hot to the last drop and make your mug pretty in the process. Why not make a cute little gift for yourself or someone you really like? The great thing about knitted mug cosies is that they are reusable, so they can be used again and again and again and again and..you get the idea! :-)

What you require:

1. 25g Aran/10 - ply (= US worsted) (Recommendation: pure cotton or cotton blends)

2. Size 4mm knitting needles

3. Darning needle

4. Large button approximately 1 inch in diameter (to secure the cosy in place)
