Top baby UGG patterns

As the weather cools, and you creep back into your cosy, snuggly UGG boots, why not crochet a pair for baby to match?

The world loves UGG boots, and all the various incarnations of their signature style, from different shades of fleece to toggle-backs, knee-high, ankle-high, slouchy or straight. They’re warm, cosy and perfect for wearing when there’s a nip in the air, and perfect for little ones too. We’ve got some fantastic patterns for baby UGG style booties, so you can make a different pair for every day of the week!

Don’t forget, UGG style boots are unisex and almost as many men wear them as women, so don’t leave the baby boys out!

1. Mia slouch boots by Two Girls Patterns

Fabulously slouchy with adorable bow detail, these Mia slouch boots from Two Girls Patterns, is a wonderful project to keep tiny toes toasty. Ideal for beginners looking to advance.

2. Mini Ugg Style Booties by Caroline Brooke

These gorgeous booties by Caroline Brooke are fabulously faithful to the UGG dream — with their soles and stitching atop a signature rich tan shade. Just look at that little embroidery “tree of life”, and the cosy deep rib that folds over for extra warmth.

3. Crochet Baby SnUgg Booties by Caroline Brooke

Caroline Brooke has written a corunucopia of baby footwear patterns, and here is another variation of classic UGG style — this time with a fur edging and buttons. These are crocheted in chunky weight yarn, so you can imagine how little time they take to make!

5. The Furrylicious baby boot

The Two Girls Patterns Furrylicious Baby Boot pattern pictured below is great fun to make — look at those loops and side buttons! You’ll be inundated with requests for pairs of these, so be careful where you take them unless you don’t mind making them for friends’ babies too.

7. Willow boots by Inventorium

My heart just melted when I saw these divine Willow Boots by Inventorium. You can use any DK yarn here, although the photo pictured uses Rico Baby Cotton Soft DK. Don’t you love that little bow?
