We Love: free crochet patterns for babies

Do you love free crochet patterns for babies? These adorable patterns for your favourite little people are sure to put a smile on your face. From booties and rompers to cardigans and sugar sweet blankets, Angie has gathered up some adorable free baby crochet patterns you'll love!

1. Morning dew cardigan

The gorgeous morning dew cardigan is exactly what you'll want to dress your little ones in when the weather warms up. Crocheted in Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK, this intermediate level cardigan can be made in any colour of the Paintbox rainbow.

2. Sideways cardigan

This super sweet baby cardigan crochet pattern features Berroco Comfort DK, a variegated self striping yarn that’s perfect for crochet. This free pattern includes sizes ranging from newborn to 24 months, and also features classic wooden buttons.

3. Ice cream garland

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! These cute crochet cones could be used as a nursery garland decoration or as an appliqué to dress up a plain sweater or diaper bag. This simple pattern could be made by any crocheter, and you could make them in a rainbow of colours using the many shades of Rico Creative Cotton Aran yarn.

4. Billy booties
