Crafting is a great stress reliever for me. In 2009 one of my sons passed away, I knitted through the fog. In 2018 my husband had a stroke, I knitted away the hours by his bedside as he recovered. Now I’m fighting secondary breast cancer. I’ve knitted through the chemotherapy treatment, through the various appointment wait times. I love to see my ideas on paper appear on the needles.
