Isabelle's blanket
Having made plenty of knitted garments for Sophia, we didn't need much for baby Isabelle, so her mum asked for a blanket just like her sister's in a purple version. The pattern I followed is on this website but it doesn't come up when I search to add it to my project. I've taken a photo so you can see what it looks like in case you fancy making one yourselves. The yarn isn't available any longer on Lovecraft's, but I sourced it online from Neil The Knit (cheaper going direct than going through Amazon or eBay) I bought 10 ball pack n it took exactly 7 balls for a square blanket. I might've tweaked the number of stitches across from the pattern advise (I can't remember now 🤦🤷) I had 3 balls left over so I made the giant cushion to sit on from the remainder. I watched a YouTube tutorial to get going as I'd made one previously but couldn't remember how to start it. The blanket tutorial is on there too.

Yes, I used them mostly for crochet as I'm not good at reading the patterns for that. My mum taught me to knit n read patterns as a kid, but I never got round to crochet til my step mum died and I had to finish a baby blanket she had made for Finley. YouTube lets you see if you've understood n done it right instantly 😊

It's pre-made loops so you just cross two over each time before pushing them through the next row's loops to create the pattern.
