Wanted a warm snuggly cardigan, so I thought I’d give this pattern a go. Bat wing so was a big knit 240 sts on the back piece at one point, but was nice to knit. Front band a bit different to anything I’d done. before. Used sale wool 40% off which made it a bit affordable. Difficult to display to its best without wearing it, pattern pictures show it better.

This looks really cosy for the cold weather Carole. I have this pattern but not sure about the batwing design. How is it to wear?

@Helen B: lol, update…. I wore it all day yesterday and didn’t want to take it off it was so warm, and got used to the curly edge, which is settling down and it is nice to wrap around. I think I would make it again.

Hi Helen, I had the same concerns, but it really is comfortable, not at all bulky like I thought it might be. I think because the sleeves are 2x2 rib and fit nicely it works really well. The curly edge is the thing I keep wanting to flatten, but that’s just me used to having a nice flat rib lol never happy. 😃
