Frogged and yarn returned to stash. Cables much easier to do than I expected - really like the look of eyelet on either side of the cable. Helpful to use stitch markers to count rows & finished repeats of lace border - keep moving marker during the 16 row repeat then add a new marker for every repeat. 09-05-2016 Played yarn chicken and lost - 6 rows of stockinette short rows + 4 row eyelet border + 3 stitch i-cord bind-off to go. Not sure if redoing stockinette area shallower & wider would recover enough yarn to finish so am looking into purchasing another skein to do stockinette area and finish the eyelet & bind-off in original skein. Same color no longer in stock so looking into options. 10-18-2016 Decided to frog - cannot get additional yarn of the same colorway and don’t like options available for knitting stockinette area in different color. Will definitely try this pattern again but won't cut it so close on yardage!

I am having difficulty understanding this pattern. first, I keep having 4 stitches at the end of each row but no instructions on what to do with them. I am following the instructions and not the chart, but when Iook at the chart I see some places where it says no stitch. What do you do with the stitches? do you just put them on the needle without knitting or purling? Next the instructions state that when you do a double yarn over that on the next row one of the yo is knitted and one is purled, but the instructions dont say that. Also am not clear on the mle and which stitch to leave on the needle. Is there somewhere you can give me how many stitches I should have at the end of each row? also, when I get to the row where you bind off, what do you do on the next row? are you supposed to pick that up somewhere? thank you
