    About

I’ve wanted to knit this pattern since it was released and thought that my daughter in law would love it for Christmas. I had all the yarn in my stash, leftovers from other projects. The pattern is very detailed with all the instructions charted as well as written. A great pattern that was a joy to knit, not at all difficult but looks very effective with all the different patterns. Every section is very easily customised to accommodate your yarn quantity. I would definitely knit this again, very happy with the finished item.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.50mm (US 4) 80cm
    • Circular 3.75mm (US 5) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
    • Stitch Holder
    • Cable Needle

    Measurements

    33cm x 225cm

Notes: I knew I had more than enough yarn to knit the sample size so knit exactly to the pattern. My scarf was not quite as big as suggested but probably due to the fact that my yarn was a very light 4 ply so gauge was not quite the same as the pattern. I’m very happy with the size. I followed the instructions exactly, going up a needle size for the mosaic sections, the only thing I omitted was the tassel.

    Approximate yarn used:
    Blue - 290m
    Gold - 310m
    Beige - 325m

Thank you Jean. Yes a definite must do. It was a really interesting pattern to knit and really easy to adjust to whatever quantity of yarn you have. Will definitely knit another at some point.
