After reading about hengpai and zongpai, I knew my hats had their namesake.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eZongpai is knit from the bottom up, starting in rib and working into stocking stitch until the shaping for the crown. The stitches are dropped right before the last few rows of shaping.
