When I started the project, I didn’t have any elaborate plans, didn’t really know where I was going, I just wanted to use this pretty yarn, drew a simple chart and started knitting. I never thought much ahead, only drew one chart or a couple of rows at a time and tried to use my intuition to figure out what to do next. This must be the reason why this shawl has everything I love most in knitting: lace, cables and leaves. The pattern is broken down into five charts (written-out version always available!) going from relatively simple to a bit challenging and then back to relaxing, always keeping your interest. The middle part contains quite a number of cables, which form an arch-like pattern, giving the design an architectural feel.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis pattern is both \u003cstrong\u003echarted\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003ewritten\u003c\/strong\u003e out, has been tech edited and test knitted.
