When I designed the Moon Rocks cowl and came up with that stitch pattern I knew I wanted to also design a large shawl with the same stitch pattern.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eStarting at the bottom point the rows are crocheted straight across with an easy two-row repeat, followed by an edging that is placed on the angled edges of the triangle. The edging blends easily into the stitch pattern of the body of the shawl making for an interesting look.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor my shawl I used a soft Pima cotton\/modal rayon yarn, Berroco Modern Cotton DK in the color “Rose Island”. This yarn is one of my favorite Summer and Spring yarns that gives a superb stitch definition.
