Both sizes uses less than one skein each.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGauge:\u003c\/strong\u003e 20 sts and 26 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st with size 7 ndls, 18 sts and 23 rows = 4″ in St st with size 8 ndls\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e1 rep (24 sts) cable patt (unstretched) = approx. 3.25 \/ 3.5″ unblocked and 3.375 \/ 3.625″ blocked.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSubstitute Yarn Weight:\u003c\/strong\u003e Worsted to Heavy Worsted\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI've suggested similar yarns, to the Naturally Nazareth Aran, which I used in the pattern.
