Guage is not important, but I suggest creating a swatch just to make sure you like the feel of the results.  I knit tight, so you may choose a different size needle.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe pattern can be easily changed to make it larger or smaller as long as multiples of 14 stitches are added or subtracted.
