The shawl was designed specifically for Lindsay’s indigo dyed lace weight yarn, and it seemed only right that the design should be inspired by India. After studying the fabrics Lindsay brought back from India, a textile from Kutch, Gujarat, provided the diamond motif which decorates the wide border edging of this curved lace shawl.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAn elongated semi-circular shawl, worked from the top edge to the outer edge, starting with a garter stitch tab.
