As you’ll notice very early on, the lace pattern produces some beautiful flowers!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe shawl can be knit in heavier yarns than laceweight, however I would recommend sticking to the same weight for both the main and contrasting colours.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI suggest working in a needle size slightly larger than recommended for your yarn, in order to open up the lacework nicely.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs with all of my patterns, the lace section is charted and colour-coded for simplicity.
