I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo do the sample image, you will need 4 colors of yarn, all in the same yarn weight. The B rows (background \u0026amp; face) take approximately 2 oz total (100 yards), and the A rows (black outlines, hair, facial features) take slightly less than that amount.
