This gorgeous cushion is perfect to keep for yourself, give to a loved one or even make as a housewarming gift for a couple moving in together.
You might think this looks like a project for experienced knitters only, but I have used a cunning technique to add lots of colours without lots of work. This complex-looking pattern is achieved simply by knitting with one self-patterning yarn and one solid colour yarn using the fair isle method.
The self-patterning yarn used in the the sample is Stylecraft Wondersoft Merry Go Round. A substitute is shown below.
