The pattern is written in U.S. terminology and contains step-by-step pictures. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. All pieces are made in Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran yarn, but any similar Aran weight yarn will work. This project is worked with a 3mm crochet hook and uses 6mm safety eyes.
