Product Details
Teneriffe shawl is a semi-circle shawl worked top down in one piece. It features the stripes in Stockinette stitch, Slip stitch crosses pattern in the center and delicate lace border. Finished with Picot bind-off.
Size: After blocking, approx.: 72.4” wingspan, 23.6” depth (184 cm wingspan, 60 cm depth). The final measurements depend on chosen yarn, needles size, your personal gauge and also, the amount of times the pattern is repeated.
**Materials and tools:****
****Yarn**: any lace, heavy lace, light fingering or fingering weight yarn. Yarn A (main colour) - approx. 80 - 100 g; Yarn B (contrasting colour) - approx. 50 - 60 g. All yarn together approx. 100 - 150 g (440 - 650 yards/ 400 - 600 m).
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) 32” (80 cm) or 40” (100cm) circular needles;and 4 markers.
Knitting skills: basic knitting skills, kfb, K2tog, skp, slip knitwise, wyif, wyib, lace knitting.
This pattern was not tested by independent knitters. Corrections and remarks are welcome.
