Product Details
This is a real favourite pattern. It is very easy but requires a very large 24mm hook and multiple strands of T-shirt yarn so get your muscles ready. It works up quickly and I find I can make a footstool in an evening.
I stuff mine so they are very firm and they turn out the ideal height to put your feet on when crocheting :-) As you can see my children love them too.
It was originally made in Hoopla T-shirt yarn but this is now very difficult to get hold of. Any T-shirt jersey with a reasonable stretch will work: Hoooked Zpaghetti or Tek Tek are most common it seems but you can easily make your own (you will need about 600m)

- I like to use a value duvet from my local supermarket to stuff this project because the stuffing is safe and already enclosed and this saves sewing.
