I wanted to make a poncho with a shell pattern and suddenly I had this idea for a shawl. And the serendipity shawl was born. It has an absolutely gorgeous lacy wrap pattern. This ruana wrap involves no shaping or sewing and is a joy to make! The fringes are optional, it looks perfect with or without them because of the shell border.
