Queen Bee and her Ladybird-in-Waiting each contain a Cadburys chocolate egg and are so easy to knit.
You can omit the knitted crown and simply have a plain bumblebee instead.
They make delightful little gifts and table favours for Springtime and are perfect for Easter Egg hunts outside in the garden.
All you need are straight needles and oddments of DK yarn + tiny sticky wiggle eyes for ladybird (or embroider with white yarn for younger children)
