Our Matthew baby pattern contains knitting instructions for a summer playsuit, hat and booties.
This knitting pattern will fit a chest size approx 14” (approx Newborn size).
The pattern is an easy knit and suitable for a beginner with some knitting experience of combinations of knit and purl stitches.
The yarn I used for this baby knitting pattern was a variegated shade of James C Brett Dotti DK. The complete outfit takes 5 x 50g balls. It will knit up in any DK yarn provided you check the tension.
You will also need 3.5mm and 4mm straight needles and 7 x buttons.
